The barn tells a story of history and craftsmanship, of local hands working together and a way of life that has survived from one century to the next.

Beautiful Restored 1900’s Barn

Nestled in the heart of the valley below Otteson Bluff, The Barn at Copper Creek is as secluded as it is beautiful. The richly red board and batten siding and shingled roof are reminiscent of an older time, when hard mornings in the field were followed by quiet afternoons in the shade. Set beside the seasonal Copper Creek, the early 1900’s barn has been completely restored using many traditional materials and techniques.

A Grand Experience

Weddings and events at The Barn at Copper Creek are altogether a grand experience. The Barn has indoor reception space for up to 300 guests, indoor bathrooms, prep rooms for the bridal party, cocktail hour space, spacious grounds, handcrafted tables, and a rugged timber-framed deck and pergola.

Your guests will be in awe of the attention to detail— the windmill blade and wagon wheel chandeliers, the timber framing, the heavy iron hardware, and the handmade barnwood tables and bar. Every aspect of the Barn has been carefully selected to make your day (and your photos) completely unforgettable.

Exquisite Detail

The rough sawn wood used for the heavy timbers and siding are embedded with gently curving saw marks from the nearby lumber mill, and the steel plate brackets were all cut and coated by a local metalworker. The great chandelier itself is the original blade to the windmill just up that hill that was once the farm’s sole source of water. In so many ways, the barn tells a story of history and craftsmanship, of local hands working together, and a way of life that has survived from one century to the next.

The Finest Amenities

The Barn at Copper Creek features numerous amenities such as indoor bathrooms, wi-fi, air conditioning, and prep rooms right in the Barn for each side of your wedding party.

A Working Farm

Although no longer used for hay storage, the Barn is still very much at the center of a working farm. Two small orchards produce apples for cider, and chickens roam freely across the grounds. Heritage breed cattle and heavy workhorses graze in the pastures around the barn, and beyond them are hayfields that provide the staple feed for the whole farm. We have loved this place from the moment we arrived, and we hope you will too.
